The Snake
The Snake video on this page was filmed on a road close to Santa Cruz, Portugal.
I shot the video on the side of the road, because I took a photo first, thinking it was dead. I then saw it move and turned on the video of my Nikon D90. What happened was amazing: when I saw the nake first, (it's a non poisonous Ladder snake), it was already hit by probably more than one car. During the video, you can count 36 cars running over him and 3 of them actually ran their tires over it, as you can clearly hear from the sound. After 30 cars it was still moving! The last part of the movie I'm pretty sure it was finally dead.
Filmed entirely with the Nikon D90 DSLR.
